Construction Site

In Hong Kong there is always construction work going on. This one here is at the land claiming site in Central right at the harbour. We will get a kind of promenade. We'll see how that will turn out. What I love about the photos is the whole atmosphere. The dark and foggy sky and all that metal work and then the baby blue crane against it. I just took them with my mobile one day and was surprised how nice they turned out.

Home office

I have to work from home for a couple of weeks as our office is under renovation. Since I need to talk to colleagues and clients on the phone I need some privacy at home. So I decided to set up my desk in our bedroom. First I thought it would be really tight and packed in there but it worked out really nice! And I love my little white rocking chair. It's so comfy and actually the cafeteria in my company has the same chairs so it feels a little bit like being there.

First birthday

Our daughter turned ONE! Amazing if you think where we were just a year ago! And now she is already so tall! I made a Jamie Oliver party cake and decorated it with animals cut out of a layer of marzipan (used cookie cutters to do that). The little one was a bit shy in the beginning with all the party guests being around. But after a short while she warmed up and went after the balloon decoration!
